UV print, galvanically gold-plated steel

The golden tableau depicts the outline of the Mediterranean Sea and its neighbouring states; escape routes, and ferry routes, routes of cruise liners and of patrol boats, all that crossing the sea on their journeys, were superimposed, presenting themselves entangled and in austere cartographic equality.

As in Concertina, the gold functions as an iconic background image counteracting the coldness of this ornament.
