The monograph Ruth Schnell–WORKBOOK. Mirrors of the Unseen provides a documentary examination and contextualization of Ruth Schnell’s works since 1983, some of which have been linked to the artist’s video archive by way of QR codes. The work section is supplemented with essays by Claudia Giannetti, Chris Salter, and Jill Scott; a conversation between the artist and Katharina Gsöllpointner recapitulates her oeuvre from a media history perspective. This English-language volume was published by De Gruyter in 2023 in the book series of the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Edition Angewandte.
Accompanying the book launch, a site-specific version of the 2022 mixed reality installation COMBATscience Augmented II will be presented in Vienna for the first time. Visitors will have an opportunity to experience the installation using a pair of HoloLens smart glasses.

As part of "Spotlight", an exhibition format for public space, the façade of the Alte Dogana building becomes part of the dynamic projection mapping Flood. In Flood, writing, image and sound intertwine: moving images of landscapes and water, but also of the consequences of the overexploitation of the earth, peel out of the words and sentences that make up the International Bill of Human Rights and the most virulent extensions with regard to climate change.
