Sensor-controlled interactive water installation, customs clearance caravan tunnel
Austrian–Slovenian border crossing, competition 1990, realization 1991
Marble plate (17m long), 80 sensor-controlled water fountains
The speed of the sinusoidal wave motion depends on the traffic density and the speed of the passing cars. It requires at least one vehicle crossing the mark of the Austrian border to activate the water fountains. The moving WASSERZAUN lies across the border, thwarting it.
